Going out with a bang; OLGCYA Meetings switched to Fridays

Hello folks. Last Thursday, we went out with a bang. After the discussion, a quick bite at PJs, we headed over to the Green Hills Golf course to watch the Worcester 4th of July fireworks over Lake Quinsigamond. We didn't hear the sound track (just kidding, Erin), but we were entertained by faux oohs and aahs.

It was a last Thursday of sorts. Some of you know that I'm in school now, at Assumption College. Since I'm going to evening classes, and sometimes my school schedule may have a class on Thursday evenings, and since I can't find a reliable back up, I've decided to switch the meetings from Thursday evening to Friday evening, the same time, 7pm - 8pm, at Our Lady of Good Counsel, in West Boylston. I think I'll be more creative about what happens after the meeting on Fridays. Anybody love movies?

I've cleared this with Fr. Ken, and we'll be doing this from July 11 to August 15. Right now it's a temporary measure to ensure I get to class on Thursdays this semester, but if this proves to be a better time for everyone (that is, if more people show up for the Friday slot), then I will consider making it permanent.

In the meantime, repeat after me, "I will go to OLGCYA meetings on FRIDAY, Friday, friday..."

See you there on Friday.

:-)
