Fasting and Prayer, New Adam New Eve

A good discussion on this coming Sunday's readings. One man brought us death, and another man restored us to life. Jesus is the New Adam Who restored us to life, and Mary is the New Eve who said "yes" (as opposed to Eve's "no" to God). The topic of fasting carried over to our discussion at PJs.

Additionally, Gianna mentioned 40 Days for Life going on in Worcester. Check out the link. It's a good thing.

Later, the discussion moved on to the consecration to Jesus in Mary (True Devotion to Mary, by St. Louis De Montfort).

Here's Paul trying to figure out what the consecration means...
Here's me 'splaining :-) ...

Joyful Lent!

Last Thursday we discussed the readings for the last Sunday in ordinary time. We talked a bit about humility and had a very interesting discussion on the Beatitudes (the Gospel reading was the Sermon on the Mount). The meeting was well attended. One new face, and two returning members who we haven't seen in while. Keep on coming! The discussion was great.

Later, Amy gave out dating advice for all the guys
Paul who did the initial asking, doesn't want to show his face!
Here's J.D. who hosted the Superbowl party last Sunday. Thanks for the party. Darn, it was disappointing the Pat's didn't win, but that ain't J.D.'s fault.
