Thanksgiving and a Movie

Last Thursday, we continued our Thanksgiving tradition with our 2nd Annual T-day Leftovers and Movie. In attendance were Tony, Bob, John, and Shaun. We all agreed Christ was King. :)

Later, sans John, we headed over for a beer and a movie. Last year, the choice was Deja Vu, selected by Kimmy and it was great action and fun to watch. This year, Tony needed to see Beowulf. Quoth Tony, "It was bad." I agree with Tony that to significantly change 1500 year old story is a criminal offense, and obviously, the movie's producers failed to improve on the story. Perhaps we should have seen the 3-D version; we might not have missed the poor plot.

Pictures (All Saints Day)

It's a bit late, but here are a few pictures from a month ago, a special night at O'Conners after Mass (All Saints Day)

Here's Fr. Ken and Kelly....

Thursday, 11/8/07

Small turnout for discussion last night, but one new face. Welcome to Rich; hopefully we'll see you again.

The crowd at PJ's was larger. We had some good discussion on leadership, as well as some discussion of what it means to be a single young adult.

Thanks to Fr. Ken for putting out some free advertising for the "Singles Group".
